Jessica Lee grew up in California and now resides in the Pacific Northwest. She is an Assistant Editor for Narrative Magazine and an intern for Copper Canyon Press. She was a finalist for the 2017 So to Speak Poetry Contest judged by Natalie Diaz and the 2017 Greg Grummer Poetry Award judged by Monica Youn.
She holds a BA in Creative Writing and a minor in Dance from Western Washington University. While at Western, she worked as an editor for Jeopardy Magazine and as a Writing Assistant and Student Coordinator for Western’s Research and Writing Studio.
Her work is forthcoming in cream city review, Duende, Minola Review, Mud Season Review, and Nasty Women Poets: An Unapologetic Anthology of Subversive Verse (Lost Horse Press).
